WRFU in association with the Schools in the Wellington Region run a number of Rippa and Tackle Tournament events for various ages.

There are two major events held each year.
1) Intermediate 7’s: Wednesday May 19th 2010, with Postponement Day of Friday May 21st.
2) Waterman’s Intermediate 15 a side Tournament: Wednesday September 15th with postponement day of Thursday September 16th.

Secondary School Girls Events:
WRFU will run a Yr 9/10 Girls 7’s and Rippa Rugby event on Wednesday December 3rd 2010 with a postponement date of Friday December 5th 2010.
