Governance

Wellington Rugby is governed by a Board of Directors, led by Chair Russell Poole, which delegates authority to a Club Rugby Board (Club delegates) to oversee amateur rugby and Junior Rugby Advisory Board to manage junior rugby.

These boards are supported by an executive led by CEO Tony Giles whose responsibility is to lead and administer rugby in Wellington at both the community and professional (Wellington Lions) level.
