RugbySmart

This course is compulsory for all college and senior club coaches each year prior to the start of the club and college competitions. As well as refreshing the key safety messages each year, this course also provides coaches with some valuable coaching material presented by some of the country’s most respected and experienced coaches.

Coaches are welcome to complete their annual Rugby Smart course requirement at any of the courses located around the region below: 

NOTE:

Prior to attending a RugbySmart course coaches must first have completed their NZR 2024 coach registration via their club or college sent Sporty Link or at https://www.wrfu.co.nz/coaches-referees/coaching-courses-resources/coach-registrations. 

RugbySmart is a compulsory safety course that ALL coaches coaching secondary school and above must complete every year. A big change coming to the upcoming season is there is now an option of three different ways to complete RugbySmart in 2024. These being:

• Practical RugbySmart
