Applications are now open for Wellington Rugby representative coaching and support staff positions. We are seeking dedicated team management for the teams below in 2025. 
 

All applicants will be notified the week after the closing date regarding their application status. Applications close Thursday 17 April at 5:00pm.

New in 2025, aligning with national opportunities in this grade. Offers a high-level development experience post-zonal series

Ideal coaching candidates must have the following competencies: 

  • Foundation (Level 1) is required, while DRC (Level 2) or Performance (Level 3) World Rugby Accreditation is preferred 

  • A proven track record in player development

WAINUIOMATA RFC

Wainuiomata Rugby Football Club is excited to announce coaching vacancies for the 2025 season, and are looking for passionate, dedicated coaches to help shape the future of their teams.

There are several key roles to fill and they would love to hear from anyone who is eager to contribute to their vibrant rugby community.

Women’s Rugby Coaching Vacancies:
They currently have a Head Coach and Forwards Coach in place for their women’s team and are now looking for the following support:

  • Backs Coach
  • Additional Coaching Assistance

Premier Men’s Rugby Coaching Vacancy:
Their Premier Men’s side is also looking for a Backs Coach to work alongside existing coaching staff Mike and Attilla.

HUTT VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL

Hutt Valley High School are seeking coaches for their rugby teams in 2025 and are taking on all considerations for anyone interested in coaching their boys and girls teams. Next year they aim to have 6 teams representing HVHS:

  • 1st XV Boys
  • 2nd XV Boys
  • U15 Boys
  • U65kg Boys
  • U18 Girls
  • U15 Girls

If any of these teams interest you, please state your intention and a small blurb about why you would be a good candidate for coaching this team.
