Dulux opened its first New Zealand manufacturing plant in Gracefield, Lower Hutt, back in 1939, and has been a pillar of the Wellington community since then. For 85 years, Dulux has helped protect, maintain and enhance the spaces and places where Kiwis live, work and play.

Dulux NZ General Manager Tony Leard says, “We are delighted to be back on the jersey and onboard with the Wellington Lions. We have been backing Wellington since we began manufacturing here 85 years ago and proud to be supporting the Lions for another great year in 2024.

WRFU CEO Tony Giles shared his sentiments, adding, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Dulux this year. This partnership showcases Dulux’s genuine commitment to rugby and to the local community,”

“Their mission to support young Kiwi athletes in the wider community mirrors our own, and we’re excited to have them backing our boys as we head into the 2024 Bunnings Warehouse NPC season.”

Dulux is involved in other important local partnerships, supporting communities, Kiwi athletes and more to protect the things that matter most to New Zealanders.
