WRFU is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with BCITO
BCITO (Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation) is the largest provider of construction trade apprenticeships in New Zealand. Through on-the-job training and regular guidance, they’re committed to building a skilled workforce in which talented people can excel.
As part of their new agreement, BCITO are coming on board as the naming rights partner for all WRFU age-grade rep teams.
BCITO GM Marketing and Growth Paddy Kymbrekos said, “We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Wellington Rugby, a collaboration that marks a significant milestone for both BCITO and the future of young athletes. At BCITO, our mission is to empower and guide the next generation of tradespeople, and we believe this partnership is a positive step towards achieving that goal.
Wellington Rugby's commitment to excellence and nurturing talent aligns perfectly with our vision of supporting young individuals in their career journeys. By joining forces, we aim to provide athletes with the essential guidance and resources they need to not only excel on the field but also to thrive as qualified tradespeople.
This partnership represents a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between athletic achievement and career development. Together, we are dedicated to ensuring that young rugby players receive the mentorship and support required to build successful futures, both on and off the field.
We look forward to working closely with Wellington Rugby and contributing to the growth and success of our emerging talent.”
WRFU CEO Tony Giles added, “We’re excited to welcome BCITO to the Wellington Rugby whānau. It’s wonderful to see them taking on the naming rights for our age-grade rep teams, I see this as a real testament to their commitment to fostering opportunities for young people in our community.”
