Our collective effort has raised more than $10,000 for the Wellington Children's Hospital with the money raised to go toward the purchase of a paediatric gastroscope to be used by surgeons in theatre.
All 23 of our special bravery-themed playing jerseys, as well as the one-of-a-kind sterling silver Bravery Coin donated by The Village Goldsmith, were snapped up on our TradeMe auction.
The Lions players, coaches and management, would like to thank everybody involved for their generous contributions and continued support.
Wellington Hospitals Foundation chair Bill Day said he would like to extend his sincere thanks on behalf of the doctors, nurses and young patients of the children's ward.
