Position Vacant: Coaching Development Officer

Oriental Rongotai Football Club are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and suitably qualified Coaching Development Officer to replace our long serving CDO who has recently been promoted within the Wellington Rugby Union's Coaching Development Programme.

This position operates on a partnership and dual funded basis between the Oriental Rongotai Football Club and the Wellington Rugby Football Union with the objectives of:

• Providing dedicated support to coaches at junior, secondary school and senior club level
• The provision of development and upskill opportunities and assistance with player development
• Other duties include the general promotion of Rugby on the Miramar Peninsula in particular but also within the Wellington Rugby Union's area of operation.

Oriental Rongotai (Ories) are a small but high achieving club with a very proud record of player development, with many players going on to national representative teams and super rugby franchises. In recent years we have had outstanding success at premier level for both our men's, women's and junior teams and it is our vision to build on this success by increasing our playing numbers and developing coaches and players to be the very best they can.
