Vacancy - WRFU Women's Rugby Development Manager
Wellington Rugby is now seeking applications for the position of Women’s Rugby Development Manager.
The purpose of this role is to lead, develop and facilitate the women’s and girl’s game by working closely with key stakeholders within Wellington Rugby and the NZ Rugby (NZR) Women’s Rugby Development Team.
The role will work on initiatives to promote the female game, deliver expert resources and provide player development opportunities that will add value and increase the enjoyment, growth and development of rugby for players at primary/intermediate, secondary school and club levels of the game.
It will also be responsible for increasing the number of female rugby players and coaches, and building the bridge between school and club rugby for female players, coaches and administrators.
Potential candidates should be highly organised and motivated; have experience in project management and reporting and in the use of evaluative tools to measure project performance. Coaching experience and an understanding of girl’s/women’s rugby will be an advantage.
Please note that the role will involve some work outside normal work day hours including evenings and weekends.
