Wellington Rugby is seeking applications for the role of Head Coach of the Wellington Pride, proud participants in the Farah Palmer Cup.

The successful candidate will have outstanding leadership and people management skills, effective talent identification and development systems, and the ability to build strong relationships based on mutual respect and trust with all key stakeholders. You will coach the team on and off the field to a standard of excellence that enhances the reputation of the Pride, and the women’s game in our region.

Suitable candidates will have had prior experience coaching rugby at the highest levels. An appreciation of the importance of technical and tactical components, thorough analysis, planning and organisation is imperative, as is the ability to articulate and deliver a vision and game plan for the team.

This is a volunteer role, although reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. Reporting to our Director of Rugby, this is an outstanding opportunity to play a key role in the development of rugby in Wellington.
