Wellington Rugby seek new Academy Manager

|
News

Wellington Rugby is advertising for a new Academy Manager.

The key high performance role has become available after current Academy Manager and former Wellington Lions coach Earl Va'a secured a new coaching position with an overseas club.

Wellington Rugby chief executive Steve Rogers said Va'a's departure was not entirely unexpected

"When Earl was appointed to Academy Manager late last year there was always a possibility that he would follow his passion when the next coaching opportunity arose.

"This has not been an easy decision for Earl but he goes with our best wishes and I know he will be a strong advocate of Wellington Rugby on his travels."

Va'a will take up his new job in April, which gives Wellington Rugby two months to advertise and identify his replacement.
